Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy explains how tibok handles your data.

Data Collection

Currently, tibok does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information or usage data. All your files and data remain on your local machine.

This policy may change when tibok is added to the Apple App Store, as Apple may require certain data collection for app analytics or crash reporting. Any changes to our data collection practices will be reflected in an updated privacy policy.

Data Storage

All your documents and files are stored locally on your Mac. tibok does not have access to your files or send them to any external servers. If you choose to use iCloud sync (when available), your files will be synced through Apple's iCloud service, subject to Apple's privacy policies.

Export and Integration Features

tibok provides several ways to export and share your content. How your data is handled depends on which features you use:

Local Exports

When you export files to HTML, Markdown, or PDF format, these files are saved to your local disk. No data is transmitted to external services during local exports.

Git Integration

If you use tibok's Git integration to push, pull, or commit to remote repositories (such as GitHub or GitLab), your content will be transmitted to those services according to your Git configuration. tibok does not store your Git credentials or repository data. Credentials are managed through your system's Git configuration and Apple Keychain, which you control. Your use of Git services is subject to those services' privacy policies.

WordPress Integration

If you use tibok's WordPress integration to publish posts (via Post by Email or WordPress REST API), your content will be transmitted to your WordPress site. tibok does not store your WordPress credentials. When using App Passwords for API authentication, credentials are stored securely in Apple Keychain. Your use of WordPress is subject to your web hosting provider and WordPress's privacy policies and terms of service.

Webhooks

If you configure webhooks in tibok, data may be sent to the endpoints you specify. tibok only sends data to webhook URLs that you explicitly configure. You are responsible for ensuring that your webhook endpoints are secure and comply with applicable privacy laws.
