Common Questions

What are the system requirements?

tibok requires macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later on Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, or later). Intel Macs are not supported.

Where are my files stored?

Your files are stored locally on your Mac. tibok uses local-first storage, so your documents are files on your disk. You can optionally enable iCloud sync (when available) to access files across multiple Macs.

How do I use the command palette?

Press ⌘K to open the command palette. Type to search for commands, use arrow keys to navigate, then press Enter to execute. See the Command Palette guide for details.

Can I use Git with tibok?

Yes. tibok has built-in Git integration. You can commit, push, pull, and branch directly from the editor without leaving the app.

Does tibok work offline?

Yes. Since tibok is local-first, all core features work offline. Your files are stored on your disk, so you can write and edit without an internet connection. Git operations require internet only when pushing/pulling from remote repositories.

How do I use slash commands?

Type / at the beginning of a line to open the slash command menu. Use arrow keys to navigate and Enter to select. tibok includes 35+ slash commands for headings, lists, tables, formatting, and more.

Can I open multiple files?

Yes. tibok supports tabs for multiple documents. Use ⌘1 through ⌘9 to switch between tabs, or ⌘⇧T to reopen closed tabs.
